Fit as a Fiddle

Hey..

Yeah, so you heard that my sis and I were admitted in hospital. No? You didn’t? Well, yeah, we were. For DENGUE. Those blood-suckers *mumblemumble*.

We are really thankful for all your well-wishes, calls and smses. Also for all of you who came by to visit us. IT was really nice, since Selayang isn’t really round the corner.

We’re both discharged now. =) And bumming around till the end of our MCs. Oh well.. it’s back to work tomorrow for me.

Gotta take on 2 weeks’ worth of work. *roar*

Nails

Thursday, January 17th, 2008

Do you remember how when we were younger, during primary school or secondary school, we used to admire the other older girls (either in uni or working already) and how they get to leave their fingernails as long as they want? Remember how we’d purposely leave our nails long during the holidays and paint them some weirdo colours JUST because we don’t get to do so during school days? And how some girls in school will PURPOSELY leave their nails long and then get disciplined by the discipline teacher?

Here’s the truth about the older girls that we used to admire.

Their nails are long not because they LOVE to keep them long.

They’re long because they don’t have time to cut them.

If the older girls had the time, they would have gotten a manicure. But they usually don’t.

And the older girls actually want to keep their nails short cos the longer they grow, the harder it is to type on the keyboard.

*tap tappety tap tap tap*

Just like my nails now.
