Yes, I’m no longer working in Delicious. Quit last thursday.
Yes, I also no longer get a 30% staff discount when I visit the cafe. Tough luck for those who didn’t bring me out earlier~! haha..
No, I’ve not started working yet.
Yes, I’ve been offered a job, but I’m still considering my options. (I’m picky, I know)

Yes, I am going to Australia in less than 2 weeks’ time. I can’t believe it.
Yes, for the Hillsong conference, and then 2 more weeks in Melbourne.
NO! I’ve not packed yet! Aaaaaahhhhh!!!!
Yes, I think I have enough cash, otherwise I will eat grass.
Tell me about it! The exchange rate is rocketing sky high! RM 2.91 to AuD 1!
Sure, just let me know what you want from Australia. (and pay me back)

Yes, I’m going back to Penang tomorrow.
Yup, for a wedding. And to meet up with some friends. And hopefully get a haircut.
No, no wedding for me, not anytime soon.
Nope, no boyfriend yet either.
Yea, sure, when he comes around.
Yes, that’s right.

"Work less, Big pay,
Go home at 5pm everyday."

That’s what everybody wants, isn’t it? And I haven’t even gone for interviews yet, what more talk about work!

Sans My Wants

Wednesday, June 6th, 2007

It is not the luxuries that I need.

It is the luxuries that I want, sometimes.

Can I live without my wants?

I guess.

A BLL in English

Friday, June 1st, 2007

What do you do with a BA in English?

What is my life going to be?

Four years of college,

And plenty of knowledge,

Have earned me this useless degree.

I can’t pay the bills yet,

Cos I have no skills yet,

The world is a big scary place.

But somehow I can’t shake,

The feeling I might make,

A difference in the human race!

~Avenue Q~

=) hehe. I found this excerpt from a musical, apparently a broadway musical staged in London. Or something like that. It’s kinda cute. and relates to me a LOT. only difference is I have a Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics (not Arts), majoring in English.

So yes, if you think about it, i don’t really have any ’skills’ yet. I can’t do complex accounting calculations, nor can i give you any intelligent comments on the economy of Malaysia, much less of the world. No need to ask me anything about science. Heat goes up. Mercury is more tumpat than water. That’s all i know. haha.

My only strength which I can harp on and on in my cover letters and resume is "I KNOW ENGLISH". Something which most people I know, know. And some are even better in English than I am. So what edge do I have over others, other than the fact that I will soon have a piece of paper qualifying me to be good in English?

Nevertheless, I choose to hold on to the last line of the short verse. Human race, watch out!
